The Meaning, Concept, and Purpose of a POOL CLEANER
When you hear the term "Pool Cleaner", the first thing that comes to your mind is probably "clean swimming pool water". And that is exactly what was on our mind when we invented the Strider-SS Automatic Pool Skimmer and Cleaner. And the main reason we invented the Strider-SS was because all of the other products on the market were NOT "cleaning the swimming pool water".
The automatic pool cleaner running along the bottom of your pool is doing a good job of keeping your swimming pool floor clean. But, what benefit is that if the water above it is dirty? The dirt and debris on your pool floor is coming from the dirty water above it. IF, the pool water was clean, then there would be very little dirt or debris sinking to your pool floor.
That is why we invented the Strider-SS. Our automatic pool skimmer and cleaner attacks the dirt and debris that is in and on the WATER. The Strider-SS cleans the water by directing the dirt and debris to the filtration system of your swimming pool. It attacks most of the dirt and debris soon after it lands and floats on the surface of the water. The Strider-SS also has 4 suction lines hanging down in the water at various depths to collect the dirt and debris that may be suspended in the water.
Depending on your environment, the Strider-SS will also help you realize some real cost savings in maintaining your swimming pool. The first way may be in electric usage savings. On average, you may only need to run your pool pump for 4 to 6 hours per day. If your pool water is clean there is no need to pump it through your filter. For a bottom running pool cleaner you typically need to run them for 8 hours or more per day.
